How to Set Up Your Own Map

If you wish to use theQuiz Race mini-game into a map other than the template, you'll need to configure specific settings in the Map Editor.

Click on 'Tile Effects,' then choose 'Map Location.’ Name each map location as indicated in this guide and position the tiles wherever you'd like.

Map Locations We recommend dividing the Quiz Race area into different sections. (The race waiting area and the game play area) quizrace_start_point : Designate the location where all participants start the trivia race. quizrace_finish_point : Mark the finish line area that players will cross upon completing all the questions.

quizrace_end_point : Specify where players should go once the match ends. Problem Area (Required): q1_answer_o : Set the area where players can choose 'O' as their answer.

q1_answer_x : Set the area where players can choose 'X' as their answer.

hidden_on : You can't see other people's avatars.

hiddn_off : You can see other people's avatars.

Speed Zones (Required): speed_set_50 : (Puddle) Reduces player speed to 50.

speed_set_70 : (Banana) Reduces player speed to 70.

speed_set_110 : (Yellow Wings) Increases player speed to 110.

speed_set_120 : (Blue Wings) Increases player speed to 120.

speed_set_random : (Random) Player speed is randomly increased or decreased. [Optional Map Locations] quizrace_rank_winner : This is the area where the game winner is sent to after the game ends.
